I am over the moon to share that my debut fiction collection, CYANIDE CONSTELLATIONS (And Other Stories), will be published by Dark Matter INK in Fall 2025! It’ll contain several reprints as well as brand new pieces!

I’m especially excited to share this collection of nature and cosmic-inspired horrors because it contains my new novelette, THE REVENGE OF RAPPACCINI’S DAUGHTER, inspired, of course, by Nathaniel Hawthorne’s story “Rappaccini’s Daughter”. It’s a story I’ve wanted to work with for the longest time, and I had so much fun leaning into the botanical Gothic world that Hawthorne created in his original piece.

I even got to visit Hawthorne’s grave last month (on the day this announcement initially came out!), so it all just felt even more special. I am so grateful I was able to visit Author’s Ridge on my recent travels. It’s almost overwhelming to see these giants of literature in the same cemetery, and to think of how their inspiration constantly fills the wells of so many writers and readers.
